Project management

Commissioning
If you have an idea for a project, but don't have the capacity to take it on, I can make sure you don't miss the opportunity. I have experience of market research, getting new projects through senior proposal meetings, and commissioning and briefing authors. My training in finance and experience of projecting sales, revenues and budgets makes me well placed to compile financial data for your project.

Project management
Perhaps you have already commissioned your book and now you need someone to see it through from manuscript handover to handover to production. Throughout the project's life I will be a helpful and supportive point of contact for your team. I am conscious of the value of effective communication, which keeps you informed but not overwhelmed with information.
Proofreading

​I offer proofreading services, through to checking final files for production. I also have experience of development editing and copyediting, however I only offer these services in occasional circumstances.

​As an industry, we have come a long way from producing printed books and now there are a wealth of possible formats for your content and often new digital products represent uncharted territory. It's often difficult to estimate how much time or money will be needed to check your digital content.
