About me
I worked in editorial roles in-house for five years and developed strong project management, copyediting and proofreading skills. I have been a freelance editor since 2014.
I have commissioned textbooks and eBooks for International Baccalaureate, International GCSE and International A Level, among others. I also have significant experience of both print and digital projects.

My debut novel Mystery in the Palace of Westminster – a middle grade mystery book – has been an Amazon bestseller in its category.
​
In my spare time I like to read and potter about in my balcony garden. I am also a Director for the management company that runs my block of flats. My interests include theatre and ballet.

​2010–2013
​During my time at Pearson Education I worked on products – both textbooks and eBooks – for primary and secondary international curricula, as well as resources for schools in the Middle East. I managed course materials from completed manuscript to handover to production. This included creating schedules and budgets for my projects, as well as commissioning freelancers.​

At Athena Press I worked on a variety of genres, including poetry, fiction, autobiography and science fiction. I was given extensive one-to-one in-house training on copyediting and proofreading, which I consolidated in my day-to-day role.
